Always getting better

What's coming to the course

Content updates

Content is refreshed in regular releases as Wisconsin's rules, roads and best practices change. Your students always get the current version.

Multiple voices

A cast of narrator voices, including Professor Gene, so lessons sound like people and not a robot.

Multi-lingual

Text and narration in more languages, starting with Spanish, so more of your families can take the course.

The course you adopt keeps getting better. Updates reach your students automatically.

Where we're headed

More to offer families, more margin for you

Parent curriculum

A short companion course for parents: GDL rules, supervised practice, the passenger and phone risks, and a parent-teen driving agreement.

Branded resources

Materials that carry your school's name, so the course feels like yours.

More games

More play-to-learn moments like Sign Invaders, added throughout the course.

App tools

Practical tools families use on their own car, starting with a recall checker.

Base course + add-ons = your package, your price, your margin.

Thanks for being our first school. Quick agenda: see it live, pricing, where it's going, the outline, the state path, then paperwork and a start date. Presenter view: press P. Share THIS window (not the presenter window) in Teams with "include sound" on.

Every item jumps to its slide (click it). Slide numbers fill in automatically. Keep this under a minute. The demo gets the most time (~8 min).

Dates come from the project folder and its git history. Jun 21 2024 first road-sign graphic · Aug 8 2024 first Manager commit · Nov 26-27 2024 EIN + Articles of Organization · Dec 16 2024 logo files · Apr 18 2025 Bunny video hosting · Jul 21 2025 DriveTrak codebase · Nov 28 2025 "Meet Skill Genius" video · Dec 1 2025 student app preview · Mar 2026 = 285 commits · Apr 2026 hotspots/scenarios + quality reports · May 2026 marketing site, May 31 early-access page · Jun 2026 WI DOT email, Jun 26 Travis signs up · Jul 2026 arc review + games (Jul 10) · Sep 19 curriculum finished · Oct 6-13 target. Video producer joined Nov 2024; video editor June 2026 (mention by name if you like).

Section, lesson and topic counts are pulled live from the Manager. Mention the 2-hours-per-day pacing if he asks about seat time.

Counts are how many times each block is used across the 40 live lessons (as of Sep 25, 2026). Game: 2 placed in lessons so far (9 games are built). Annotate is built and ready but not yet placed in a live lesson. "Process steps" is the older name for Steps (same component).

Pick 3–4 from the rail, not all 17. Suggested: a scenario video, a game, a quiz, a narrated page. Click inside the phone to interact. To get the arrow keys back for the deck, click the gray margin of the slide. Your favorite notes show here in presenter view; clicking a favorite here switches the audience screen.

On-screen preview only. The full outline and the topic-to-hours map are delivered when they file for state approval, after the contract is signed (the NDA is part of the contract). It's the basis for his Course Summary and lesson plans for DOT (at least one main topic per hour).

Say $20, then stop talking. Have ready: billing cadence (e.g. monthly on enrollments), how long the founding price is locked.

Give the Oct 6–13 range, not a single date. Say "DriveTrak" out loud if he asks what platform. WI DOT confirmed in June: we don't need a school license under this model. Before handing him anything to file: confirm the four 30-minute statutory blocks are at minimum (organ donation, motorcycle/ped/bike, vulnerable highway users, work zones).

Frame these as improvements to the base course, different from the add-ons on the earlier slide (things he can sell). Decide before the call whether these are included in the $20 or priced separately. Direction, not dates.

Direction, not dates. Don't quote add-on pricing yet: "priced so there's room for your markup." Everything is sold through his school (keeps us out of WI licensing). Ask: "If you could offer families one extra thing on top of the course, what would sell?"
